  Had lunch there today. Lots of children as schools have just broken up for the summer, but as it's a family pub it just added to the pleasant atmosphere. Nice seating area outside, and plenty of tables inside. Lots of choices on the menu, and prices are decent. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely go back there again.

  My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our burger meals. The beer is generally very good here and prices are about as cheap as you'll get in the area.

  Good value for food. Can get very busy as with most pubs when the sport is on. Accepts dogs if they are on a lead & not allowed to run around. Could do with a larger range of beers, but that can be the case for chain pubs.
